Battery production: purity and safety as the foundation

In battery manufacturing, fine, often toxic powders such as nickel, cobalt or graphite materials are commonplace. Powdery, reactive materials (Ni, Co, graphite)

Nickel, cobalt and graphite powders are often fine, toxic and reactive. Open handling leads to dust exposure and puts employees and product quality at risk. Dust-free handling of active materials is essential.

OEB/OEL requirements

Many cathode materials have strict Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs), which require high OEB classifications. Compliance with these limits is a regulatory necessity.

Contamination risk in the process chain

Foreign particles can significantly impair the performance and service life of battery cells. A closed process from raw material to mixing is crucial.
