What are flexible isolator systems?

Flexible isolators are enclosed work areas made from high-purity polymer films. They are used for the safe handling of pharmaceutical substances, particularly during weighing, sampling and transfer. In contrast to rigid systems, they offer a cost-effective, quickly deployable solution that minimises the risk of cross-contamination and makes elaborate cleaning validation unnecessary.
